I was watching the Attack of the Show coverage of Gizmodo's prank. Overall, it was pretty funny, but disrupting demos was a little cruel. I was telling my son that I reminded me of the part in Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange land where they were explaining to Valentine Michael Smith the difference between "funny once" and "funny always" - shutting off a wall of TV displays all at once was "funny once", running around the rest of the show doing it over and over, interrupting people playing video games, and disrupting product demos was definitely NOT "funny always".

I'm gonna have to say it was a little questionable on Gizmodo's part. Turning off the wall of screens was fine, and funny, but messing with Motorola during their presentation was over the line...
