Unfortunately, there are many errors or discrepancies between the various resources available for this project. Eventually, they will all be listed here; if you can then update one of the resources (schematic, PCB layout, assembly directions), please do so and then remove the error from this list.
Note: This errata does not apply to the WB 2010 design by Mictronics found here: http://ladyada.net/wiki/wavebubble/wave_bubble_2010
Part | Incorrect | Correct | Remarks |
---|---|---|---|
R2 | 2K, 0.25W | 500-1000 ohm | The lower the resistance, the brighter the power LED – can be any wattage |
R3 | ? | do not place | unused |
R4 | ? | do not place | unused |
R5 | ? | do not place | unused |
Q2 | ? | do not place | unused |
D1 | ? | SS14 | |
J2 | optional | If you omit this part, you have to jumper two pads together or else you won't get power from the USB port |
Part | Incorrect | Correct | Remarks |

C20 | 160pF, do not place | 390-550pF, placement recommended. | |
C36 | .47uF | do not place | part of (unused) noise circuit; do not place |
C40 | 68pF | ? | Sirenza datasheets say 1-2pF, not clear if this is an error or not |
